Some performers feel like a “character.” Nico doesn’t.
Off camera, he’s shy, sensitive, and surprisingly soft-spoken — and on camera, he’s exactly this

In this Staxus interview, Nico opens up about leaving his old life behind, what makes him feel safe on set, the strange little ritual he uses to lock in focus, and the kind of scenes that hit him hardest.

Who Nico is when the cameras stop

1) Who is Nico Gerolf when there are no cameras around?

When there are no cameras around, I am a very shy and sensitive person. In reality, I am exactly the same as I am on screen. I never try to distort my identity just to prove something. I always stay true to myself.

2) Describe yourself in three words

Kind, Cheerful. The soul of the party.

3) What do you do in your free time when you’re not filming?

A typical day starts with a healthy breakfast and a workout at the gym. Then, since I live in Spain, I work all day and get ready to go to university.

4) Any hobby, habit, or hidden talent that would surprise the fans?

My hobbies are social media and the gym. My habit is music: I listen to it all day long. Even right now, as I answer these questions.

And my hidden talent? I’m a good marketer, if that counts.

Before Staxus: where he comes from, and why he started

5) Where are you from, and what was your life like before porn?

I am from Belarus, but I have been living in Spain for two years and I love it here. Before,

I was an ordinary person who worked hard and dreamed big. Now I have finally started to make those dreams come true.

6) How and why did you take the step to film for the first time?

Strange as it may seem, this has always been my dream. For me, adult films are the same as cinema.

as a film actor. I believe that thanks to my sincerity and honesty with fans, my films feel alive and warm.

7) What was hardest in the beginning… and what hooked you the most?

My first shooting day was very strange. The hardest part was getting used to the fact that you’re not alone with your partner—there’s a whole team around you. What hooked me most was the atmosphere on set. I’m used to working, and it’s important for me that everything runs like clockwork. So I want to thank the entire team once again for treating every model with care and creating a feeling of complete safety.

8. How do you remember your first professional shoot?

It was very stressful. My first shoot brought up a lot of conflicting emotions. But if we talk about the process itself—it was incredibly hot and beautiful. I’m glad I overcame myself and became a porn actor.

Staxus exclusivity: “family”, comfort, and pride

9) You were Staxus’ first exclusive model — what did you feel?

Honestly, I only found out that I’m the first exclusive model when I read this question. So you’re seeing my real emotions live, haha. Right now, I don’t feel special, but I’m deeply grateful to the team for noticing my potential. I’m incredibly happy to be part of this family and to create even more films for you.

10. What do you think makes Staxus different—or what makes you feel most comfortable working with them?

The realization that I’m no longer just a boy from Belarus, but a model for one of the popular studios, makes me proud of myself. I’m grateful to myself for the path I’ve taken. And I want to highlight one person—Jimenno. Only because of you I was noticed and entered this world. Thank you so much.

4) Shoots, chemistry & turning up the heat

11. Before filming, do you have any ritual or prep (mental/physical) to get “in the zone”?

Staxus is more than adult films—it’s a family. The people who create content, photos, and visuals work incredibly hard so you can receive a beautiful film filled with emotion and feeling. What makes our team special is mutual support and understanding. We know how to hear each other. That’s why you see only sincere, high-quality porn. Comfort for me is when we become one ecosystem with a shared mindset and worldview.

12. Do you prefer coming into a scene with built-up hunger, or more relaxed and letting the tension rise on set?

I really do have a ritual before shoots. I’ll tell you a secret. On my last shoot, another model noticed that I start shaking my head and asked, “Are you nervous?” I told him that this is how I tune myself in. Why shaking my head? I clear my mind of unnecessary thoughts and focus. I also twist the bracelet on my wrist to distract myself from everything else. I’m curious what you’ll think about that, haha.

13. In a scene, what turns you on the most: the other person, the situation, the eye contact… or knowing you’re being filmed?

I prefer to surrender to the process and let the desire build during the shoot. I always catch a connection with my partner, and that makes it easier for me to get into the right state.

14. What kind of Staxus scene do you enjoy more: slow and sensual, or more direct and intense—and why?

There are a few factors: first, knowing that I’m being filmed; second, my partner and his touch. The rest I’ll keep a secret.

15. What has to happen in a scene for you to think: “That was a perfect shoot”?

I love roughness. You might not expect it from me, but I prefer sex to be intense. Although sometimes I turn into a spoiled boy and crave something more romantic.

16. Looking ahead, what would you love to explore in future scenes that you haven’t done yet (or want to do “bigger”)?

It’s hard to name a perfect shoot, because each one is perfect in its own way. The most important thing is connection. If there’s real chemistry with everyone, the shoot is already 90% perfect.

5) Sexuality, desire & habits (more intimate)

17. Since you started filming, have you discovered anything new about your sexuality—or what really turns you on?

I’ve realized that I truly enjoy sex on camera.

18. Outside of work, how do you define your sexuality, and what’s your usual role in real life?

In everyday life, I’m also gay. My role is versatile. I hope you’ll soon see me in an active role on our site.

19. When you’re alone, do you masturbate more with imagination or with porn—what works better for you?

Outside of shoots, I don’t masturbate very often—I prefer real sex. But when I do, it’s usually with imagination.

20. A naughty one to close this section: have you ever gotten turned on watching one of your own scenes? What turns you on more—seeing yourself, the situation, or remembering what happened off-camera?

I don’t usually watch my own films. But if I do, to evaluate myself on screen, I can get turned on by the memories of how it all felt.

6) Human closing

21. To close: what would you like Staxus readers to know about you beyond sex?

My main dream for 2026 is to enter university to study marketing and begin my education.
